What Is Lip Tint Micropigmentation ?

Lip Tint Micropigmentation is a semi-permanent cosmetic procedure that enhances the natural color, shape, and definition of the lips by depositing pigment into the upper layers of the skin using a fine needle device.

It creates a soft, natural tint—similar to a sheer lipstick or lip stain—that adds vibrancy and symmetry without the need for daily makeup.

The Lip Tint Micropigmentation Advantages

  • Enhances the natural shape and color of the lips

  • Creates a fuller, more defined appearance without fillers

  • Reduces the need for daily lipstick or lip liner

  • Corrects uneven pigmentation or asymmetry

  • Long-lasting results (up to 1–3 years)

Lip Tint Micropigmentation Treatment:

01

Consultation

A personalized consultation to assess your natural lip tone, shape, and desired results. Your practitioner will help you choose the most flattering pigment shade and discuss the process, expectations, and contraindications.

02

Preparation

Avoid blood thinners, alcohol, and caffeine for 24–48 hours before the treatment. If prone to cold sores, clients may be advised to take antiviral medication beforehand. Arrive with clean, makeup-free lips.

03

Procedure

A numbing cream is applied to minimize discomfort. Using a fine cosmetic tattooing device, pigment is gently deposited into the lips to enhance color and shape. The session typically takes 1.5 to 2 hours.

04

Recovery

Mild swelling, tenderness, and dryness are common and usually subside within 1–3 days. The color will appear brighter initially, then soften as the lips heal over 5–7 days. Peeling may occur during this time.

Lip Tint Micropigmentation Aftercare

  • Avoid touching, picking, or licking the lips during the healing process

  • Do not apply makeup or skincare products on the lips for at least 5–7 days

  • Keep lips moisturized using only the recommended healing balm

  • Avoid hot, spicy, or acidic foods for the first 2–3 days

  • Refrain from excessive talking, stretching, or puckering the lips during initial healing
