MICRO NEEDLING

What Is Micro Needling ?

Microneedling is a minimally invasive skin treatment that uses fine, sterile needles to create tiny micro-injuries in the skin. This triggers the body’s natural healing process, stimulating collagen and elastin production, which helps improve skin texture, reduce scars, fine lines, and enlarged pores.

The Micro Needling Advantages

      • Stimulates natural skin repair for firmer, smoother skin.

      • Improves signs of aging by softening lines and creases.

      • Breaks down scar tissue and evens out skin surface.

      • Tightens and refines enlarged pores over time.

Micro Needling Treatment:

01

Consultation

A personalized evaluation of your skin type and concerns—such as acne scars, fine lines, texture, or large pores—is performed to determine if microneedling is right for you and to customize a treatment plan for optimal results.

02

Preparation

Avoid sun exposure, tanning, waxing, and exfoliating treatments for at least 5–7 days before your session. Discontinue use of retinoids and active skincare products a few days prior. Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin.

03

Procedure

A microneedling device with fine, sterile needles is gently passed over the skin to create controlled micro-injuries. This triggers your body’s natural healing response, stimulating collagen and elastin production. A soothing serum or growth factor may be applied post-treatment to enhance results.

04

Recovery

Mild redness, sensitivity, and slight swelling may occur, similar to a light sunburn, and typically subside within 24–72 hours. Minimal downtime allows most clients to resume regular activities within a day or two.

Micro Needling Aftercare

    • Expect mild redness, warmth, and tightness—similar to a sunburn.

    • Avoid touching or rubbing the treated area.

    • Use only a gentle, hydrating cleanser and lukewarm water to cleanse.

    • Apply a soothing, non-comedogenic moisturizer as recommended by your provider.

    • Avoid makeup, especially heavy foundations, for at least 24 hours.
