LIFTING THREADS
What Is Lifting Threads ?
Lifting threads, also known as thread lift or PDO threads, are a non-surgical cosmetic procedure designed to lift and tighten sagging skin using dissolvable sutures placed under the skin. These threads gently pull the skin upward while also stimulating collagen production, resulting in firmer, smoother, and more youthful-looking skin.
The Lifting Threads Advantages

Instant visible lifting and tightening of sagging skin
Stimulates natural collagen production for long-term results
Minimal downtime compared to traditional surgery
Can treat multiple areas: face, neck, jawline, cheeks, brows
Lifting Threads Treatment:
01
Consultation
Your aesthetic specialist will evaluate your facial structure, skin laxity, and aesthetic goals. This step helps determine the ideal thread type, insertion areas, and the number of threads needed for safe and natural-looking results.
02
Preparation
Avoid blood thinners, alcohol, and anti-inflammatory medications for at least 3–5 days before the procedure to reduce the risk of bruising. Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin. You may be advised to pause certain skincare products, such as retinoids.
03
Procedure
The treatment area is cleansed and numbed with a local anesthetic. Then, biocompatible threads (usually PDO, PLLA, or PCL) are inserted under the skin using a fine needle or cannula. Once in place, the threads are gently tightened to lift the skin. The procedure typically takes 30–60 minutes.
04
Recovery
Mild swelling, bruising, or soreness may occur and usually resolves within a few days to a week. Most clients can resume normal activities within 24–48 hours, though strenuous activity should be avoided for about a week.
Lifting Threads Aftercare
Avoid touching, pressing, or massaging the treated area for at least 1 week
Refrain from strenuous exercise, heavy lifting, or excessive facial movements for 5–7 days
Sleep on your back with your head elevated to reduce swelling
Avoid facial treatments, massages, or dental work for 2 weeks
Do not apply makeup for at least 24 hours after the procedure
